Undercover Agents
Undercover Operatives are Loss Prevention Agents that pose as regular employees
in every department to perform the duties of the assigned position, while actively
interacting with employees around them to make and report observations. Undercover
Operatives should blend into the workforce that they have been hired. Undercover Operatives
are trained to view their surroundings from the perspective of the team member,
the guest, and the stockholder. Operatives report on matters of dishonesty, physical
security conditions, employee malpractice, supervision, employee/employer relations,
evaluation of employees, safety, and guest service issues.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete specific job training requirements for the position of Undercover Operative,
evaluate and report on the training provided.
- Secure the job in the desired department and area.
- Perform the job well enough to continue employment, without alienating those who
may be involved in malfeasance.
- Identify and later report violations of company policy and the law.
- All work completed whether on or off the clock should take place on company property
or at company sanctioned events.
- Communicate with LP Supervisor/Manager on a daily basis via phone and email.
- Prepare and submit via email daily report using the prescribed report writing form.
- Notify LP Management of planned events that are contrary to company policy and the
law.
- Violate company policy only as instructed by handler to gain acceptance. Such events
must be reported in the daily report.
- Never divulge your identity as an undercover employee, or act in a way that exposes
the Operative to those suspicions.
- Other duties as assigned by the handler, be it Park or Corporate Management.
Ideal Candidate Must Possess
- Must be enrolled in high school or possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must pass a background screening including criminal records check and credit verification.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Available to work in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift 25lbs.
- Able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must have a cellular phone with voicemail.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge in the use of computers and experience with Microsoft Word preferred.
- Must possess reliable transportation with insurance.
